Is this the new iPad 2 screen?
It certainly appear to be based on ifixyouri. Apparently the screen is lighter, thinner and of a better build than the current iPad screen.
No news on the actual screen resolution yet.

This would be too easy. When the original iPad came out last year it had a 27 on the calendar app. Guess when it was presented to the world? January 27th.
The new iPad has a 9 on the calendar app… so it is an easy guess that it might be unveiled on Feb or March [...]

I have it on good authority that Apple will be announcing the iPad 2 in the next “3-4 weeks”, possibly Tuesday February 1st. The iPad 2 will feature a retina display and front/back cameras.
If you’re thinking of buying an iPad, hold off for now.

Applidium reported that they have seen 125,000 downloads of their VLC application for the iPad. This is a whole lot of download for one day when you consider that it is for iPad only.

After 2 weeks of review, VLC for the iPad is now available on the AppStore! The release date is set to Tuesday, Sept. 21, so depending on your timezone, it should be available pretty soon.
