I installed the latest version - now both printers still show up on my MAC, only one on my iPad, and if I print I get the error popup immdiately - and if I click on the name of the printer itself I get a window that eventually says "no airprint printers (available...or something similar). I hadn't tried printing in quite a while as it'd never worked.  It still doesn't and there are no help files, plus the advanced window does nothing. IS this basically dead software that no longer has support?  Should it just be deleted in favor of a paid alternative? I had something similar happen to me after upgrading to Lion. I would keep seing error logs in the "Console" application about access being denied by the firewall even if I had allowed it. I had to re-install Lion from scratch instead of Snow Leopard upgrade to fix it. Maybe this is your case? You have added aparedir to the allowed applications?
