How to install 10.6.2 on Atom Netbook

A solution was quickly found on how to make 10.6.2 work on the Atom based netbook… simply use the 10.6.1 kernel instead of the 10.6.2.  This is certainly a step back from a proper upgrade but it is better than no upgrade at all.  Here is a copy of the instructions as written by Meklort:

Another Night, Another OSX Netbook Install Improvement

Meklort and I worked on the project again last night and things are shaping up quite well.  The NetbookBootMaker is now reverting back to the DellEFI method of caching kext for the installation.  We ran into too many issues with the new method… like Kernel Panic and missing Quartz Extreme.
